Xander D. "Xander Man" Whitehead

Xander D. "Xander Man" Whitehead, 6, of Mildred, went to be with his father in Heaven on Monday, December 19, 2016. Born September 10, 2010 in Danville, he was a son of Nichole A. Capriotti and the late Daniel J. Whitehead. Xander had a supernatural way of touching the hearts of everyone who met him. He was able to overcome his disability and become everyone’s super hero. Xander loved spending his days with Dawn, and watching Teletubbies. He also enjoyed flirting with the girls and spending time with his family. Surviving, in addition to his mother, are two brothers, Kaleb E. Stoner and Gavyn M. Stoner, both of Mildred; maternal grandparents, Enrico and Arlene Capriotti of Lopez; paternal grandparents, James and Linda Whitehead of Harveys Lake; four uncles, Tom, Mikey (Kaitlin), Charles, and Zach (Jamie); numerous cousins; and his favorite dog, Marlee. A memorial service will be held 7 p.m. Thursday, January 12, at McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, 119 Carpenter St., Dushore. Friends may call from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
