Oscar D. Stine, 62, of Hughesville died Sunday, June 4, 2017 at home surrounded by his loved ones. Born September 30, 1954 in Williamsport, he is the son of Norma M. (Beamer) Stine and the late Sidney W. Stine, Sr. Oscar was the husband of Karen I. (Braunbeck) Stine, who were married in 2003. Prior to his illness, Oscar was employed at Muncy Homes. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and golfing. He was an avid New England Patriots fan. Oscar enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and his best friend "Patch", his loyal dog. Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are two daughters, Brenda L. (John) Funk of Lakeland, FL, Jessica L. Swank of Hughesville; a son, Cody A. Stine of Hughesville; a step-son Nevin R. (Caitlyn) Geesey of Chambersburg; a step daughter Kalena I. (Jacob) Seredych of York; seven grandchildren; two sisters: Cindy L. (Larry) Sauers of Montgomery, Ann M. Stine of Williamsport; four brothers, Sidney W. (Sharon) Stine, Jr. of S. Willliamsport, David E. (Kathleen) Stine, Sr. of Montoursville, Timothy L. (Diane) Stine of Montoursville, PA and Charles L. Stine of Montgomery. Memorial services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, Hughesville.
