Norma L. Gardner

July 14, 1943 - September 28, 2017

Norma L. Gardner, 74, of Hughesville, died Thursday, September 28, 2017 at AristaCare in Loyalsock. Born July 14, 1943 in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Edson R. and the Marion E. (Sweet) Neal. She married Larry W. Gardner, who survives. Norma was a member of the Pine Summit Church. She enjoyed playing cards, crosswords, and sports, especially NASCAR. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three step-sons, Larry A. (Cathi) Gardner of Montgomery, Mike W. (April) Gardner of Williamsport, and Mark R. Gardner of Picture Rocks; a step-daughter, Bobbi Sue (Craig) Gansell of Picture Rocks; a brother, Richard H. (Joyce) Neal of Rochester, NY; five grandchildren, Corey, Breanna, Chrissy, Jimmy, and Mikey Gardner; and two nieces, Kim (Jerry) O’Connell of New Kingstown, RI, and Cindy (Jim) Wilcox of Aurora, NY. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 3rd, at the Pine Summit United Methodist Church, with Rev. Martin Parr officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Summit Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, at the church In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Lycoming County SPCA, at http://lycomingspca.org/you-can-help/ways-to-help/.
