Mary Louise “Mare” Thomas, 56, of Unityville died Sunday, July 30, 2017 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. Born April 11, 1961 in Alexandria Bay, NY, she was a daughter of Patricia (Streeter) Dennis, and the late Charles Leo Thomas. Mary was also the fiancée of Gordon E. Eichenlaub of Unityville. Mary was a homemaker who enjoyed crocheting, sewing, baking, playing cards, board games, and splitting wood. She also cherished spending time with her grandchildren, and making clothing for them. Surviving, in addition to her mother and fiancé, are two daughters, Amber M. (Justin Faulstick) Thomas of Unityville, and Megan J. (Jordan) Uhl of Emmaus; a son, Michael A. (Crystal) Eichenlaub of Unityville; four grandchildren, Anna M. Thomas, Allen E. Faulstick, Kiara L. Uhl, Dakota M. Uhl; a sister, Jennifer D. Dennis of Millville; and two brothers, James D. Dennis II of Hughesville, and Jason D. Dennis of IA. In addition to her father, Mary was preceded in death by her step-father, James D. Dennis Sr. Memorial services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, Hughesville.
