John J. Simcox, 82, of Muncy, died Saturday, December 17, 2016 at ManorCare South. He is survived by his wife, Eileen L. (Sedious) Simcox, and celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary on Decmber 24, 2015. Born March 4, 1934 in Williamsport, he is the son of the late Roy and Mabel Simcox. Prior to his retirement he was employed as a truck driver for Marathon, Carey McFall. John like to talk to people and spend time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren. Surviving in addition to his wife, Eileen, are four daughters, Kay (Ben) Lacox of Salt Lake City, UT, Cindy Beaver of Salt Lake City, UT, Debbie L. (Tim) McMillen of Muncy, Tina (Dawn) Phillips of Williamsport; three sons, David (Terri) Simcox of Hughesville, Randy Sr. (Linda) Simcox, of Williamsport, Patrick Simcox of Hughesville, a half-brother, Richard Simcox of Williamsport; numerous Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother and five sisters. He was also preceded in death by a grandson, Kurtis Simcox in March of 2010.
