Cora Sacks, 87, of Unityville, passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at Valley View Nursing Center in Montoursville. Born June 16, 1930 in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Bertram C. and Catherine R. (Young) Unangst. She is survived by two daughters, Jo Marie (Donald) Shaffer of Unityville and Bette Ann (Terry) Bleam of Green Lane; a sister, Faye Van Horn of Easton; three grandchildren, Christopher Bleam of Green Lane, David Shaffer of Benton, and Daniel Shaffer of Gerard, OH; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Sacks; and four brothers, Sterling, Bertram, Frederick, and Robert Unangst. In keeping with Cora’s wishes, services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
